Parker and Elmo had their first introduction today. Judging from Parker's face I think they might need some more time to get better acquainted.
Well hello there bedhead!

Catching up on her VeggieTales over some breakfast.
Parker upset, again, because she woke up after busting out of her swaddle. Again. Did I mention again?

We had our friends Allyson & Damon over to watch suffer through the Auburn/Clemson game. We won, in overtime, but it was torturous to watch. Luckily the ending made it worth chewing off every fingernail we had!
Peyton & Noah always have a great time together. We added Parker into the mix this football season and everyone had a blast!
And wow what a difference a year makes! Allyson, our kids are growing up way too fast!!

The Woombie - the "ingenious" baby invention that prevents babies from breaking free from their swaddles. I suppose where there's a will there's a way. But dang. I'm seriously considering patenting a baby straight jacket for Parker alone. This kid can bust out of anything. Houdini's got nothing on her.
Peyton's become quiet the tornado lately. Everything on the floor in this picture was IN the crib with her when I put her down for a nap. I walked in to this sight.
So potty training for Peyton went amazingly well. One month and she's totally got it. She's still in diapers for naps & bedtime though And if you look closely at the above picture you'll see a diaper on the floor. Yes, Peyton's figured out how to take off her diaper. It's, um, gross. Check out Peyton's "al fresco" look.
So after about a week of changing her sheets every time she went in her crib I outsmarted the toddler and put her back in onesies when she sleeps. Mommy - 1, Peyton - 0.

So we took a little trip to the beach! Picture it...one loaded down car packed with everything baby under the sun, two carseats, 3 movies, and two flustered parents. That was us. After about 5 stops to potty (but NO accidents) and climbing from the front seat to the back seat countless times to comfort babies who refuse to sleep in the car, we made it there and back. In one piece! Surprisingly! Here's a few pics of the trip - we had a fabulous time despite the searing heat. We had an awesome pool to escape to thank goodness!
Parker starts out with her head on the blankets and between the positioners. She wiggles...a lot.
Catching some air in the pool. We practically had the whole place to ourselves all week! Fabulous!
The nightly game of "Where Peyton go?"
Man, we cheered and hollered, and almost threw things at the television hoping for a good old fashioned PSU butt whoopin.' No dice. Unfortunately. But Peyton sure does make losing look good!

Peyton licking the cinnamon & sugar from her toast off her tray. I think she likes it..
